INVITATION FOR BIDS

NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR THE OPERATION OF A RESTAURANT AT THE TERMINAL CAR PARK AREA AT THE BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (BIA) KATUNAYAKE

TENDER NO: 154/T/2023

Bids are invited from reputed Caterers/Hoteliers/Restaurant Operators having proper business registration and good experience and unblemished business reputation for the Operation of a Restaurant at the Terminal Car Park Area at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) Katunayake for a period of three (03) years.

Terms and conditions and other details applicable will be issued with the Bidding documents. Bidding documents may be obtained on working days from 10th April 2024 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. upto 07th May 2024 from the office of Commercial & Properties Division, Room No.31, 2nd Floor, Passenger Terminal Building, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.10,000.00 per set in cash with a request letter on a letter head of the Bidder. The Bidding Document could also be purchased from the website of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) www.airport.lk by making a non-refundable fee of Rs.10,000.00 through an online payment. The Bidding Document will be available for inspection, free of charge at the office of the Commercial & Properties Division, Airport & Aviation Services [Sri Lanka] [Private] Limited, BIA, Katunayake.

Bids should be made only on Bidding forms issued by the Company and should accompany a bid bond to the value of Rs. 440,000.00 in cash or in the form of a Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee issued by a reputed Commercial Bank or licensed specialized bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid for 150 days from the date of opening of Bids.

A Pre Bid Briefing followed by a visit to the Restaurant will be conducted at the Commercial and Properties Division, 2nd Floor of the Passenger Terminal Building of BIA, Katunayake at 2.00 p.m. on 24th April 2024 Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the Pre-Bid Briefing. Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the Chairman-Tender Board No.1 and sent by Registered Post to the office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake or should be deposited in the Tender Box placed at the office of Supply Chain Management Division labeled as Tender Board No.1. Bids will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on 08th May 2024 and opened and read publicly thereafter at the office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. Any Bid received after the stipulated time of Bid closing will be rejected unopened. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the time of opening of Bids.
